Guidelines for student attendance, academic integrity, campus decorum, and professional conduct.
1. Attendance Requirements (Anna University Norms)
- âĒ Every student must secure a minimum of 75% attendance in each course to be eligible to appear for the End Semester Examinations.
- âĒ Students with attendance between 65% and 74% due to medical reasons or approved institutional sports/symposium representation may apply for condonation through proper medical certificates.
- âĒ Students with less than 65% attendance will not be permitted to write semester examinations and must re-do the semester.
2. Campus Decorum & Dress Code
- âĒ Students must wear formal attire conforming to engineering collegiate standards.
- âĒ Laboratory coats, safety shoes, and protective goggles are compulsory during engineering workshop and laboratory practical sessions.
- âĒ College Identity Cards must be worn prominently around the neck at all times inside the campus premises.
3. Strict Zero Tolerance for Ragging
As per the orders of the Supreme Court of India and AICTE/UGC regulations, ragging in any form is totally prohibited. Any student found guilty of ragging will be summarily expelled and handed over to law enforcement authorities.
