About the Department
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 1984 (originally as Computer Technology and Informatics) and has grown into a premier hub of computing education and technological innovation in Tamil Nadu.
Our students have access to state-of-the-art computing facilities including round-the-clock internet access (1 Gbps leased line), high-end multi-core workstations, specialized GPU computing rigs, and cloud virtualization servers.
